I have a 2013 chevy silverado 1500 with 5.7 How much to convert with at least a 9 gallon tank. I have been driving a CNG van 2002 and it’s been great.
I’m glad you’re enjoying your CNG van! The biggest price variable will be the tanks. You can spend anywhere from $500 to over $4,000 for a 9+ gallon tank. Depending on if you want a new or used one, expiration on it, and which type you want. Excluding the tank, a ballpark price for a conversion on your vehicle would be somewhere between $2,300 – $3,000. So the complete system could cost $2,800 – $9,000+. It’s hard to give an accurate price, without knowing what you want, but I would be happy to discuss it with you over the phone. You could also bring your vehicle by, and then I’d be able to give you a concrete bid.
